“I found FS to be a very good way of helping my son with sensory DYS regulation and social skills challenged learn how to self-regulate and work with others in a group setting.
Nature itself provides great therapy. When matched with the loving, compassionate and gentle but firm facilitation of Coach Mindy and her team, the benefits and learning out in Nature, from Nature, are exponential.
I think there is much value for children to have a space to learn, play and grow alongside others who are different from them. It isn't easy to find adults and educators who would be able to facilitate and support such an inclusive and safe space for children to do so. But over the years, I have found Coach Mindy and her team to be one of the few I can trust to nurture my children in such a manner.” — Sarah, EduParent of two
“…The kind coaches have given my son the freedom to explore, create and imagine in the nature. It has been an amazing journey to see my child interact with others while exploring in the open spaces. My son looks forward to the weekly session and I believe that it must be so engaging that he is willing to forgo his overseas trip so that he would not miss any sessions!”

“Our son looks forward to the exploration outdoors every Saturday morning and we are extending the sessions with Forest School at his request. The kids get to enjoy fresh air, discover insects and other creatures, learn handy skills including wood-whittling, and unleash their creativity in ways such as building a makeshift tent using what nature has provided. All this takes place under the care and guidance of Mindy. She gives the children time and space to be themselves through laughter and tears, to work together, to disagree with one another, and to learn to resolve conflicts. They are empowered to lead their own exploration with her guidance. Mindy is a wonderfully steady, patient and nurturing presence and we highly recommend this program.”

“Nature Den is my child's safe haven for practising social skills. He struggles with reading social cues and gets frustrated easily in a social setting. After almost a year at Nature Den, I observed that my child has gained confidence in interacting with children of different age groups. Through the hands-on activities in a group setting, he has also learned how to better navigate in a group, engaging in teamwork, negotiation and conflict resolution. My son's favourite activity at Lower Pierce is building with materials from nature. He shared that he has since learnt a few useful "tricks". My child also feels comfortable with the Nature Den coaches. They have been very understanding and truly respect the children for who they are as individuals.”

“You have given my children a safe, nurturing and unhurried environment, for them to be children! When they have struggled, you have been a steady rock of support, never rushing or chastising, but encouraging and teaching them tools that they can use to grow and overcome their challenges.” - Parent Yen
“When my kids returned, they couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the camp. This was particularly surprising for my son, who is not fond of being outdoors or in the heat. I was amazed at how engaged and enthusiastic he was about the activities. They both shared with me how much they learned and benefited from the experience.”
