Nature Den Family Days | For young children and their grown-ups

Level 1: The Art of Belonging

Slow, relational nature experiences for families to explore, connect and simply be together.

Facilitated by trained Practitioners

An Exhale from the City

In a fast-paced environment like Singapore, it’s easy to feel the constant pull of noise, schedules, and expectations.

Nature Den Family Days are an invitation to step away from that - and into a space where your family can settle, breathe, and simply be.

This is not a playground.

It is a gently held space for connection, regulation, and belonging.

Most suited to children in the early years, approximately 2–6 years. Younger siblings and older siblings are welcome.

Why Belonging Comes First

At Nature Den, we believe meaningful growth happens when children - and their grown-ups - feel a true sense of belonging.

Before skills, before outcomes, before achievement -
there must be safety, rhythm, and connection.

This is the foundation we build together.

Our Two-Step Journey

We’ve designed our Family Days as a progressive experience—supporting your family to grow in connection with nature, and with each other.

Level 1: The Art of Belonging (Now Launching)
SGD 0.00

This is our foundation.

A four-session journey into Presencing, Sensing & Attunement, Care and Curiosity - learning to slow down, notice more, and meet your child with greater awareness and connection.

As Therapeutic Forest Practitioners, we guide families into a more attuned way of being in nature.

You’ll learn to:

  • Find a calmer, more unhurried pace

  • Notice and understand your child’s natural rhythms and ways of engaging

  • Create meaningful, restorative time together

Research shows that 120 minutes in nature can be deeply restorative to the human mind.

We create the conditions for that time to truly land.

Level 2: The Forest Craft Series (Coming Soon)
SGD 0.00

A further four-session journey into practical forest skills and making.

This is where we begin to build skill, confidence and mastery.

Inspired by parents in our community, this series explores making with the hands as a pathway to:

  • Relaxation

  • Confidence

  • A sense of empowerment

And it is not just for children - it is a space where adults can rediscover their own creativity.

Explore woodworking, whittling and safe tool use, lashing, nature-needle sewing, basket-making, wool wrapping and more.

The Nature Den Experience

We don’t treat nature as a backdrop.

We create a thoughtfully held outdoor environment where families can slow down, reconnect, and be more present with one another.

We’d love for families to experience both series together. Each registration is designed around one adult-and-child pair, with additional family members welcome to join at just $15 per person.

After completing both series, families members can continue as part of our ongoing community membership at a nominal rate.

Because we don't want nature connection to feel like something that is premium or occasional.

We would like nature to become part of family life - a place you return to regularly, where children come to know the trees and trails, parents recognise familiar faces, and families who share these values grow alongside one another.

What shapes this experience:

  • Small, intentionally curated groups

  • Responsive, in-the-moment facilitation

  • Space for both child-led exploration and guided reflection

Our facilitators are trained in therapeutic forest practice, with a focus on supporting regulation, connection, and relational safety in outdoor settings.
