Moss & Mint 🌿
A gentler rhythm for growing with Nature Den.
Childhood doesn't have to be a race.
There should be room to wander, to wonder, to get muddy, to make friends, to be quiet, to be loud—and simply to be.
A place to grow, at their own pace.
Moss & Mint is Nature Den's membership format for families who want regular, meaningful time in nature—a place where children can move at their own pace, build friendships, get to know a familiar patch of nature, and simply have space to be children.
Choose a rhythm that works for your family: weekly or fortnightly, across our Nature Den locations.
Over time, the familiar faces, places and experiences begin to weave together into something more than individual sessions.
A community.
A sense of belonging.
A childhood rooted in nature.
What might your child's time with us look like?
No two Forest School sessions are quite the same.
Your child might spend their time climbing, building a shelter, whittling, making something from natural materials, searching for tiny creatures, negotiating a game with friends, sitting quietly beside a tree—or following an idea that nobody had planned for.
Our facilitators create the conditions for children to explore, make choices, take appropriate risks, solve problems and learn with one another.
The activity is never the whole point. The relationship, discovery and growth that happen along the way are.

More than time outdoors.
At Nature Den, we are relationship-centred.
We nurture four relationships:
with self
with others
with nature
with community
Because relationships are not simply an outcome of education.
They are the foundation that makes learning—and belonging—possible.
Space to simply be.
Whether it's a gentle morning in nature or time to unwind after a busy school day, children sometimes need somewhere to move, breathe and simply be themselves.
They might climb, build, make, get muddy, talk, play, wander or sit quietly beneath a tree.
There is no pressure to perform.
Just space to be a child.
It's not another class to sit through.
It's time to be a child.

Not sure if it's the right fit?
If you're unsure whether Moss & Mint would be suitable for your child, please reach out to us before enrolling. We'd be happy to talk it through with you.
A little gift for growing with us 🎁
For a limited time, families who enrol for one year will receive a complimentary and personalised Nature Den Growth ePortfolio—a digital record capturing their Moss & Mint journey — their experiences, creations, discoveries, reflections and moments of growth.
Because childhood is full of moments worth remembering.
It isn't simply a collection of activities they've completed.
It's a way of noticing the child who is emerging through their experiences, relationships, discoveries and growing sense of self.
And, for our first 20 Moss & Mint enrolments, we'll have an additional welcome gift to share. 💚
