The Therapeutic Pod: Deep Regulation & Attunement
For children navigating neurodivergence, sensory processing challenges, or significant emotional overwhelm.
Beyond Play. Toward Restoration.
Mainstream environments can be loud, demanding, and overwhelming for a sensitive nervous system. The Therapeutic Pod is designed for children who need a low-demand, high-attunement space to simply be.
Led by our Senior Practitioner, this is an intentional forest immersion at Alexandra Forest where we prioritize co-regulation over performance.
Our Approach: The Relational Method™
We use the forest as a partner in support of your child’s unique nervous system. This isn't about "fixing" behavior; it's about understanding the need behind it.
1:3 Practitioner Ratio: Allowing for deep, consistent attunement and emotional safety.
Sensory Integration: Utilizing the "un-manicured" textures of the forest for grounding and heavy work.
Nervous System Focus: We follow the child’s lead, pacing the day to prevent burnout and foster genuine resilience.
A Low-Demand Space: Removing the pressure of "schedules" to let natural curiosity and joy return.
Comprehensive Parent Support
Your investment includes more than just the session hours.
Detailed Therapeutic Summaries: Daily deep-dives into your child’s regulation patterns and social connections.
Specialist Observations: Actionable insights you can share with your child’s wider support team (Teachers, OTs, or Speech Therapists).
Professional Documentation: High-quality photos capturing moments of breakthrough and calm.
