Terms and Condition

1. This is a Drop-Off Program. Parents shall drop off their child at the Meeting Point. In the rare event where there is lightning in the morning, the class will stay under shelter till it passes, for safety reasons. If class is to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, including severe haze, parents shall be notified via WhatsApp by 8.15 AM.

2. We usually start circle time at the earliest time all children arrive, or 9.30 a.m. Kindly be on time to help us maintain group and session dynamics and safety.

3. All pick up will be at the Meeting Point. In the event we might be later than 12.15 p.m., we will communicate to Parents the estimated return time via the WhatsApp group. The latest time of pick up will be 12.30 p.m.

4. Registration is confirmed only upon payment received by the Organiser and/or Service Provider Careloft (BRN 53413989B).

When you register your child for the Program, and enrolment is accepted by the Service Provider, it is understood that you agree to commit to the Program for 4 sessions at minimum. Fees are our only source of income and to operate efficiently we require that all fees are to be kept up-to-date and paid in advance.

5. Absences

No refunds are given for absences. If your child is absent due to any other reason including an outside commitment such as school camp, sickness, event or family holiday; no refund will be given.

6. Withdrawal

If you decide to withdraw from the Program, please give 2 weeks' notice. There are no refunds for withdrawal.

7. All fees will need to be paid in advance. You are welcome to send us a note or message when you have made payment, for your own record purpose. All fees paid are non-refundable.

When there is a holiday/school break, there may be credits to your account. If so we will email you for every month the credit is brought forward. This credit will be used later on when we have a month with 5 weeks/sessions such that there is no top up required. If top - ups are required we will inform you (fee is based on assumption of 4 sessions a month).

8. In case of an emergency, or if your child is unable to attend a session due to an unforeseen absence or illness, please inform us prior to the session to facilitate the session's attendance-taking.

9. During the sessions, in the event of any conflict arising between the participants, we may allow the young learners to resolve their disagreement and discussion on their own, and support them with our presence, modeling, reflection of thoughts and feelings or post-event debrief. We will intervene if coach sense a safety concern. This is to support the young learners to learn how to navigate and resolve conflicts on their own and build social emotional learning and confidence.

10. Current enrolled children will have priority placements and siblings of children already in attendance will receive a priority place over a new family joining.

11. Enrollment places at Forest School at Lower Peirce will not be held if the choice is to have a "time out" in attendance at the end of a semester/program. In case of such a withdrawal, please inform us two weeks in advance. Re-enrollment is subject to availability and re-enrolment fee of $50 per child shall be applied, if the time out or break is longer than 3 months.

12. From time to time, observers may be allowed in our program at our discretion, e.g., ex-teachers who may be interested to join us as staff, or parties working with Forest School at Lower Peirce such as photographers, videographers, writers or journalists. If you need more information about this, please let us know.

13. All sessions are designed towards the holistic and individualised development of learners. There are profiling assessments of learners performed by the coaches on a regular basis. For privacy and confidentiality reasons, and to ensure that learners feel safe in their learning environment, these assessments are not shared with parents or caregivers. If you need more information, please let us know.

14. We expect our coaches to be treated with the same respect that you will accord to any helping professional. If you have any feedback for us, please email us to resolve any issues together and amicably. We reserve the right to establish additional ground rules in the community for behaviors and the right to remove you from the community if our coaches or other stakeholders feel uncomfortable with your continued participation.

15. The Organiser reserves the right to vary, amend or cancel any of the program or its contents or alter the composition of the relevant conducting team and venue for the program at any time at its discretion. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the program where enrollment is insufficient.
